The V Series money clip is a little bulkier than some flatter clips, but it makes up for that by using a lightweight aircraft grade aluminum. The spring mechanism is made with precision-machined stainless steel and is heat tempered to add to durability. The inside of the clip is padded with Neoprene rubber grips — between these and the opening mechanism, there's virtually no chance of anything falling out of the clip.
When you flip the wallet to its other side, it has a side entry pocket with an ID window. You can also put a transit pass in here — that way, you can easily pull it out while leaving the wallet in your pocket. A slot just above and behind the ID window can hold folded cash or, if you prefer, an extra card or two. There's also a pocket at the top of the wallet which fits cash.
Built from high-density 3PN DWR nylon, this is one of the toughest synthetic bifold wallets available on the market. And it’s made even better by the inclusion of the brand’s FutureForm technology — which will allow it to break in and shape to your needs the longer you use it. Another traditionally-styled wallet in a modern, minimalist package, the Ezra Arthur No. 2 has one big added benefit: it’s vertically-oriented. For those who carry cards, that means it’s easier to access your cards without having to take the wallet out of your pocket — which is a drawback of horizontally-oriented card holders. It’s also free of liners and glue, made from premium Horween leather, and was crafted in the United States of America.

If you crave an accessory that’s a bit off the beaten path, however, Orvis’s unique wallet in bison leather could be just what you’re looking for. With 12 card slots and a roomy inside pocket to top-load your greenbacks, you can take an alarming amount of cash and credit on the go. Something else that we need to be aware of when evaluating products. True carbon fiber is expensive to make. It just is. There’s not really an effective way to “mass produce” it, so it takes a lot of man hours to physically produce the stuff. Keep this in mind when looking at the cheaper products you might find out there. In other words, if someone is selling a carbon fiber wallet for less than $10, there’s a good chance it’s not real. It’s most likely an imitation coating or type of wrap over a cheap plastic.
